Oscar Pistorius, South Africa’s double-amputee, and former Paralympic athlete, and gold medalist also known as “Blade Runner” is/was the South African sprint runner with the net worth of 5 million USD, that was ‘estimated’ prior to his conviction for killing his girlfriend.

The ‘estimated’ net worth of 5 million USD was from [1] prize-winnings, but mainly from [2] advertising contracts and [3] endorsements contracts – with shoe & apparel manufacturer NIKE, Fashion Designer Thierry Mugler, telecommunications services provider British Telecom [BT], and maker of sunglasses Oakley, according to Forbes.

Along with his Brother, Carl Pistorius, Oscar Pistorius is/was also Co-Director of 4 marketing companies.
The net worth figures have been revised due to the high legal fees that he had to pay for not being convicted for Murder, and instead being convicted for Culpable homicide not amounting to Murder. Serving one year behind bars and under the obligation of serving the remaining 4 years in parole, has hinted at the possible comeback of Oscar Pistorius as sprint runner for South Africa.

That the 28 year old ‘disgraced’ South Africa’s double amputee Paralympic athlete, and gold medalist must serve the rest of his sentence u/House arrest, and still faces the appeal on 3 November 2015 against his conviction of the lesser charge by Prosecutors who argue that he should have been convicted of Murder, not the lesser charge of Culpable Homicide.
The 28 year old Oscar Pistorius, who was ‘found’ guilty of the lesser charge of Culpable Homicide for firing 4 shots through the locked bathroom door that hit his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp,will be ‘confined’ to his uncle Arnold’s home in the ‘wealthy’ suburb of South Africa’s capital, Pretoria.
