Bolivia removed from the World Anti-Doping Agency’s Non-Compliant List

Following a circulatory vote by its Foundation Board members, WADA today announced that it has removed the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Bolivia, acting as the National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO), from the list of signatories previously deemed non-compliant with the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code (Code). The Bolivian NOC, has resolved the outstanding issue related to the use of non-accredited laboratories and, as such, finds itself once again Code compliant.

At WADA’s 18 November 2015 Foundation Board meeting, six Code Signatories were declared non-compliant. As stipulated in Article 23.5.5 of the Code, WADA then reported the declarations of non-compliance to the Sports Movement and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
