Para athletes Amit Saroha and Rakesh Pandey have recently got the badge of honour from Haryana government for their special talent and contribution in the field of Sports.

Amit Saroha has lost both his legs in a road accident in the year 2007, after that he started playing wheelchair rugby with the help of American Para athlete Jonathan and slightly started playing discus throw.

Para-Badminton player Rakesh Pandey is also an immense talent and quoted I never felt I am disabled in any manner. Rakesh has lost his one hand but his playing style is way more different and astonishing as compared to any normal badminton player.

Such honours boost motivation in these players for further future challenges and hurdles. Also, it’s necessary to uplift the economic and psychological esteem of special sportspersons.
